$5495 		Original, Lustrous with Superb Eye Appeal. Extremely original with an excellent strike. Excellent luster is evident under the very atrractive light toning. There are fascinating lengthy die breaks throughout both sides. On the obverse, besides a die break through Liberty's head, there is also a long die break between stars 1 and 2, as well as the left of the platform beneath Miss Liberty that makes its way through the 1 and 8 of the date to the bottom of the 4 and 2and ends horizontally to the rim. On the reverse, there is one die break from the first T in STATES through the eagles left facing wing all the way between L and F of HALF. There is another reverse die break from the rim through the top of UNITED STATES OF and goes into the rim above the first A in AMERICA. While some obverse marks keep this coin from grading MS65, we believe the arms length eye appeal of this coin will challenge any MS65 or better coin. The PCGS Price Guide value is $6,000.
