Liberty Seated Dollars
	1841	AU53	PCGS OGH 3262461	Choice	$2350	Steely Reflective Luster, Old Time Lustrous Eye Appeal, New Jersey Collection. Consignor Price Reduction! - We are pleased to be offering the New Jersey Collection's PCGS old green holder encapsulated Seated dollars for your consideration and opening with this 1841 OC-4 . Sharp steely fields are readily evident under a bright light with minimal abrasions. The luster is most reflective and pleasing with ample cartwheels. Light milky toning is noted in the right obverse field and extending to the date region. Given the coin's mirrored like surfaces, GFRC photography struggles with plastic holder reflections on the lower obverse and reverse. This dollar is many times better in hand rather than the images. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder and an important opportunity for those that enjoy originality in an early TPG holder.
	1845	AU55	PCGS 3642756	Original	HOLD $3500	New April 8! Blazing Luster and Prooflike. This near-choice low mintage dollar is sharply struck and has excellent luster over prooflike surfaces. Mostly untoned with light pale blue toning on the reverse and in the right obverse field. The eye appealing prooflike fields show a moderate amount of small marks and lines but nothing that stands out. A desireable date in Choice AU. This coin is in a blue PCGS Gen. 4.0 (1998-2002) holder.
	1847	AU58	NGC 3337013009	Choice	$2200	New April 8! Well Struck and Prooflike. Another well struck No Motto Seated dollar with prooflike fields. Wide mark free rims make the coin medallic in appearance. Some unobtrusive marks on Miss Liberty's portrait and below the eagle are noted but are well concealed by the speckled toning. Nice!
	1850-O	AU55	NGC 6817388002	Choice	$5750	New March 3! Clean and Well Struck. This better date Seated dollar has exceptionally clean surfaces and is very well struck for a date that comes notoriosly weak. The rims are pristine and the color is mostly grey with an attractive overlay of baby blue and and copper orange. With only a few light lines and marks, this coin would make an excellent addition to a high grade date set or a New Orleans type set. This date is the second New Orleans silver dollar issue and is scarce due to a production of only 40,000.
	1859-S	AU53	NGC 6841114008	Choice	$6495	New April 8! Original with Smooth Surfaces. OC-1. The 1859-S Seated dollar is scarce in Choice AU condition and especially so with original surfaces like this one. Even steel blue and rust toning on both sides cover some small nicks in the right obverse field and above the eagle. Nicely struck and with good overall eye appeal. Osburn-Cushing 1, Die State b with cracks across the reverse periphery. There are some holder scratches on the obverse on Miss Liberty's face as well as near stars 5 and 6.
	1866	PF64	PCGS 45843645	Gem	$8500	New March 19! Strong Cameo. An undipped proof with strong cameo on both sides, especially on the reverse which in our opinion boarders on deep cameo. Light toning covers both sides but does not hide the strong mirrors. The hairline free surfaces are surprisingly undisturbed for a 64. We would rather sell this one to a collector rather than a crack out dealer so if you want it please order before Central States. When we saw this coin at the recent March Baltimore show, we knew we had to buy it since we couldnt put it down.
	1868	AU58	PCGS 43881272	Choice	$4600	New April 8! Brilllian Reflective Fields; Excellent Strike. Blazing luster over semi-reflective fields. Almost completely untoned with a hammered strike. Wispy hairlines can be seen under magnification and a toning spot near Miss Liberty's head is noted. The 1868 Seated dollar is a very challenging coin in Choice AU and this desirable AU58 example would make an excellent choice for a collector putting together a date set.
	1869	AU58	NGC 6464492001	Choice	$3250	New April 8! Nice Originality and Toning. This better date With Motto Seated dollar has original surfaces covered by medium grey and pale blue iridescent toning. Clean surfaces and rims other than some small circular nicks on Miss Liberty's portraint and in the right obverse field. An excellent choice for a Choice AU date set and hard to find.
	1871	AU58	PCGS 32500013	Choice	$2750	New April 8! Excellent Eye Appeal; Great Luster. Excellent luster and color create excellent eye appeal on this AU 58 Seated dollar. The peripheries are reflective underneath aluminum green toning while the centers are darker with sea green and pale blue with rose highlights. There are light surface marks under the toning most noticeable in the right obverse field.
	1871	EF40	PCGS 46771426	Choice	$1075	New April 8! Original and Attractive. An attractive No Motto Seated dollar with even gray coloring with blue-rose iriidescence and light wear. The surfaces retain residual luster. Only minor surface lines and blemishes apart from two old parallel scratches in the field below star 13. This would make an excellent No Motto type coin.
	1872	AU55	PCGS 84722656	Choice	$1895	New April 8! Choice Original. Brown grey toning has attractive iridescent highlights when viewed under a light. Well struck with only light wear. Only small marks under the toning on the obverse while the reverse fields are very clean. An excellent choice for thoese putting together a Choice AU type or date set.
	1873	MS63	NGC 1652456002	Choice	$6250	New April 8! Golden Toning, Clean Surfaces. This coin from the final year of the Seated dollar is attractively toned in golden hues and has creamy luster. The strike is completely executed with boldly defined devices throughout the obverse and reverse. Wispy lines on the obverse define the garde while the line free reverse appears to be of a higher grade. Both sides have minimal marks.
Trade Dollars
	1873	MS62	PCGS 25042311	Choice	$2150	New April 8! Blazing Luster; Excellent Strike. This first year Trade dollar is characterized by blazing luster and an excellent strike. This date often comes with a weak strike on eagles lower leg feathers and claws. This one has only slight weakness on the right facing claw and on Miss Liberty's head. Covering the full cartwheel is a hint of original golden grey toning. An opportunity to obtain a low mintage first-year Trade dollar at a little more than the cost of a type coin.
	1873	AU55	NGC 6489831001	Choice	$1200	New March 3! Nice Originality. A very original looking example of this first year Trade dollar. Mint luster peaks out from under the rust blue toning. A few marks can be found in the right obverse field but the rims are unmarked and the strike is excellent. This coin has excellent eye appeal for those that like original looking Trade dollars.
	1877-S	MS62	PCGS 37673873	Choice	$1750	New April 8! Smooth Surfaces. Very Few Marks. This common Trade dollar has excellent eye appeal due to its exceptionally smooth surfaces, blazing luster and good strike. Held back from a much higher grade due to a few very light scratches in front of MIss Liberty's face and knee and at star 12. Light golden and steel blue toning with light crust in the reverse letters under the eagle.
