Choice $3250 New June 9! Superb Originality; Popular O-mint Type Coin. As the only O mint Type II gold dollar, the 1855-o gold dollar is very popular, especially when found with stone cold original, problem free surfaces. This strike is good except for slight weakness on the wreath leaves. There are a few tiny scattered ticks and marks but they do not detract from the great overall eye appeal.

Original $1795 New May 14! Bright, Lusterous Surfaces. This near choice Classic Head quarter eagle has clean, lustrous surfaces with few marks. The surfaces are bright leading us to believe the coin has been lightened but it is an attractive for the grade.

Choice $1025 Near-Gem Original, Rich Satiny Luster, Swirling Cartwheels, CAC Approval, Evergreen State Collection. The 1905 quarter eagle certainly brings on the eye appeal given its rich satiny luster that glows under the desk LED lamp. Cartwheels are consistent with full gem grade along with attractive honey green-gold coloration. Strike is 100% complete. This piece has the "look" of a gem but a single faint line in the right obverse field precludes that certification. MS64+ rewards the visual appearance. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval.

9892392
Choice $950 New May 29! OGH. Strictly Original Reddish Gold Color. Ex Seal Beach. In a PCGS Gen. 3.1 (1993-1998) OGH holder. This nicely struck coin oozes originality with a reddish gold tint. Surfaces don't have noticeable handling lines, but there are some marks to the left of the Indian and some smaller ones on the cheek. This makes a nice type coin that one can use to compare strict originality on gold coins.

Choice $1575 Original and Lightly Abraided. An attractive original coin with pleasing lighly abraded surfaces. Libery and the date show some light crust which confirms this coin has not been dipped or conserved. The coin retails some original frostly luster. A great no motto type coin or for a choice AU date set. We did not send this coin to CAC.

Choice $9750 Low CAC Pop. Pop Top. Beautiful color.. A glance at the CAC pop report shows that Liberty half eagles from the Phildelphia mint are significantly underrated compared to their mint marked counterparts. This gorgeous 1871 is one of six AU58 stickered at CAC with none higher. The total CAC pop is only 11. Compare this to the 1871-CC half eagle that has a total CAC pop of 42, but which is priced at more than 7 times as much. This example not only has beatiful color but is minimally marked and has nice luster. A near gem which should be seen to be appreciate.

10005562
Choice $14725 Very Rare San Francisco Issue, Choice Original, White Pine Collection.. 2025 Black Friday Sale Offering - A mere 4,000 pieces flowed from the San Francisco Mint in this year, and this is a colorful example with abundant reddish-pink shading evident on both sides. High points exhibit lighter gold color, while the recessed areas reveal varied copper patina. Luster is steely and reflective. The PCGS census notes 47 coins total, with three pieces (including this coin) in AU53 and eight examples finer. The PCGS price guide value is $20,000. While not inexpensive, the combination of rarity and eye appeal is compelling, and this piece should draw considerable interest among advanced gold specialists. Housed Ina PCGS Gen 4.0 (1998-2002) holder.

This is one of just two at this grade level with a CAC sticker with just four higher. With a CPG Value of $9,750, this is a reasonably priced example.

Choice $1895 Slightly Better Date in MS64. This coin gets tougher at the MS64 level. The luster is good with some weakness seen in Miss Liberty's hair and the eagle's neck and at the nock of the arrows.

Choice $3100 Rare Uncirculated, Superb Rose-Gold Coloring, Completed Strike, Near-Gem. GFRC Cost Basis! - 1891 Philadelphia $5 gold strikes were limited to 61,360 pieces in an era of massive silver coinage output. Most survivors are found with abrasions and/or light wear. At the MS64 level, this grade becomes rare and even more so with CAC approval. PCGS has not certified a single gem specimen, therefore MS64 and MS64+ graded examples are as good as it gets. GFRC is pleased to be offering one of the MS64 certified survivors that also has CAC approval. An infrequently seen rose-gold coloring is consistent on both sides. Bright light inspection is a joy given the brilliant frosted luster that explodes off the surfaces. Strike is 100% complete and rounds out the checklist for a designating this offering a near-gem. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2021) holder. Previously sold by GFRC during June 2021 for $4350.

6549510
Choice $12500 New May 14! OGH. Tied for Highest Graded with CAC; Beautiful Original Color. Near Gem. If you want to learn what strictly original gold looks like, this is it. Excellent luster under deep orange toning. With a mintage of just 91,820, this coin in an OGH PCGS Gen. 3.1 (1993-1998) holder becomes difficult in MS63 CAC and very difficult in MS64 CAC with 3 CAC endorsed in this grade with none finer. A few obverse marks keeps this from grading MS65, but the reverse on its own is MS65.
