	1878 7TF, Rev 1879	MS62	PCGS 80673870		Original	$220	New July 13! 7 Tail Feather, Reverse of 1879, Original Frosty Luster, Conservative Grading. Ex. Spring Branch and Saco River Collections. Frosty cartwheel luster is the highlight of this pretty 1878 7TF Morgan. For the assigned MS62 grade, I would expect to see more abraided surfaces but that is not the case. Grading is therefore conservative as the luster is consistent with many MS63 examples seen. Housed in 2015 style PCGS holder. A quality offering from the Saco River Collection.
	1878-S	MS64	PCGS 37833000		Choice	$375	Dual Sided Toning, Brilliant Frosted Luster, Swirling Cartwheels, Perfectly Original. GFRC Cost Basis! - Since starting the GFRC business, there has always been an affinity for toner Morgans. Over time, I've been hand selecting CAC approved toners with coloration that is consistent with originality expectations. Let's face it, there are ample amounts of retoned Morgans out in the market with what I consider to be unnatural colors. This 1878-S example offers the classic obverse aquamarine, copper-gold, and blues on the obverse and delineated green and copper-gold on the reverse that could have paper origins. Accurately graded with brilliant frosted luster and swirling cartwheels. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval.
	1879-CC GSA Hard	MS62+	NGC 5906267001		Choice	$10750	New July 2! With Original Box and GSA Certificate. Frosty Semi PL Surfaces; Clean Fields. Humphreys Collection. Only a little over 4,000 1879-CC dollars were distributed through the GSA sales of the 1970s, and these coins represent the bulk of this Mint State survivorship for this issue. This is the second-rarest Carson City Morgan dollar, trailing only the famous 1889-CC. The present coin has excellent frosty prooflike luster. Strike sharpness is above average for the issue, and the fields are very clean for the modest grade. Light abrasions on Miss Liberty's face account for the grade. Comes with the original box and original GSA certificate worth a few hundred dollars by itself.
	1879-CC	AU58+	PCGS 52687291		Gem	$12750	Pop 3 in AU58+ with Tremendous Toning. Ex. James A. Stack. We've seen a lot of 1879-CC Morgan dollars, but never with this kind of double sided intense target toning. A picture cannot begin to tell the story of this coin. This coin demands to be twirled under a light to see the magnificent toning. As part of the James A. Stack collection, this coin sat untouched for about 70 years. There is some rub on the center of the eagle on the reverse to justify the grade.
	1879-S	MS65+	PCGS 19049914		Choice	$295	New July 13! Well Struck. Clean Cheek. Ex. Spring Branch. This is a brilliant white example that is well struck with a clean cheek. The luster is good and marks are consistent with an MS65+ grade. This is in a PCGS Gen 4.4 (20025 - 2011) holder.
	1879-S	MS63	PCGS 15926679		Gem	HOLD $275	New July 13! Partially Mirrored, Rainbow Toning Arcs, Accurately Graded. Ex. Spring Branch. Little needs to be said as the images accurately capture the reverse rainbow toning. Fields are partially mirrored with the corresponding reflectance. Some obverse field chatter is consistent with the certified grade. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
	1880-CC 8/High 7	MS65	PCGS 25529837		Gem	$1850	New August 20! 8/High 7 Repunched Date, Gem Original, Steely Frosted Luster. A gem original example of the 1880-CC repunched date with an easily seen undertype 7 digit inside the second 8 digit. On this high-end example, the entire 7 digit can be seen in its most minute detail. A premium example with steely frosted luster and vibrant cartwheels along with well preserved surfaces. The luster is notably reflective under a bright light as the fields are covered with micro granular mint bloom. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.

This 1880-S Star rated Morgan is an unquestionable gem with exceptional eye appeal. Both NGC and CAC have certifications have noted this fact. This is one of those "wow" coins that will be a prize in a type set or a regular Morgan dollar set. It is more than appropriate to issue a JUST BUY IT NOW recommendation to do this coin justice. 	1881-CC	MS63	CACG 519749654		Choice	$995	Frosty White with Clean Cheek. An attractive lustrous white coin in a GSA Hard Case with original box and certificate. The obverse has a clean cheek for an MS63 coin with luster grazes and light marks on the left field. The reverse on its own is at least an MS65. Just 296,000 1881-CC dollars were minted.
	1881-S	MS64*	NGC 4293411001		Gem	$475	New July 13! Gem Original. Ex. Spring Branch and Watch Hill Collections. The 1881-S is one of the most common Morgans, so when selecting an example it makes sense to search for something distinctive. This piece is a worthy example, with a series of colorful crescents crisscrossing the obverse. Blue green shades covering the cheek lead to gold and conclude with intense magenta and evergreen at the date. Surfaces are somewhat prooflike as often seen for the issue, while swirling cartwheels are evident with a moderate tilt of the coin. Housed in new large font NGC holder with CAC approval.

GFRC Cost Basis! - Flashy steely-frosted radiance is promptly noted when enjoying this 1881-S Morgan under a bright light. The viewing experience is undisturbed as the fields have claims to being partially mirrored. Spinning cartwheels further enhance the overall presentation. Light rose-gold toning is amplified on the GFRC images as this piece's coloration is much lighter in-hand. . Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2024) holder.
	1881-S	MS64	PCGS 83438637		Choice	$225	New July 13! Multicolored Obverse; Nice Luster. Ex. Spring Branch. Superb multi-colored toning on the obverse has various shades of blue, burnt orange and a touch of green among others. The reverse is frostly white and very clean.
	1882-S	MS67	PCGS 44912423		Gem	$1295	New June 25! Highly Lustrous and Well Struck. Picking up this highly lustrous flashy coin, we thought this was an 1880-S or 1881-S dollar, but it is actually an 1882-S. The population of 1882-S dollars in MS67 or higher is less than half of either the 1880-S or 1881-S. It is blast white with no spots or any discoloration. Well struck on both sides with the smallest of marks that provides substantial eye appeal.

This 1883 Carson Cituy struck Morgan is thoroughly pleasing given the proof like fields and brilliant reflective luster. 	1883-CC	MS63	NGC 212704023		Choice	$395	New July 13! Brilliant White. Few Marks. Ex. Spring Branch. This Carson City dollar is briliant white with no discoloration or spots. The surfaces are clean with few marks especially Miss Liberty's cheek. The strike is average with some weakness on Miss Liberty's hair above the ear and on the eagle's breast feathers.
	1883-O	MS64PL	PCGS 60881980		Gem	$310	New June 26! Nice Reflectivity that Borders on DMPL. Purchased at the June Baltimore show. For a prooflike Morgan, the reflectivity on the surfaces is excellent and borders on deep mirror prooflike. Further enhancing the eye appeal, cameo contrast can be seen between the well struck devices and fields. The light fingerprint marks towards the obverse rim can only be seen when tilted a certain way.
	1890-CC	AU58	PCGS 27744078		Gem	$825	New July 13! Gem Original. Ex. Spring Branch and Watch Hill Collections. Partially mirrored fields are framed by russet rims, more deeply on the obverse. The eagle is exceptionally frosted, contrasting with surrounding prooflike surfaces. Swirling cartwheels remain, with superior luster for an AU58 example. A nice coin. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.6 (2013-2014) holder with CAC approval. The CDN retail value is $422.
	1891-CC	MS63	PCGS 42119705		Choice	$1350	Well Struck and Original. A well struck example of this better date cc morgan. The obverse of mostly white with a touch of gold in the left obverse while the reverse shows more of the same toning. Both sides have nice frosty luster.
	1895-S	F12	PCGS 28914706		Gem	$750	New July 13! Gem Original. Ex. Spring Branch and Watch Hill Collections. This is precisely what an original, circulated Morgan dollar should look like, with lighter high points and contrasting shades in the recessed areas. The rarity of the issue (400,000 minted) only adds to the appeal of this CAC-approved example. This piece exhibits gray shading throughout, with reddish overtones additionally present on the obverse. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.6 (2013-2014) holder with CAC approval.

GFRC Cost Basis! - Another better San Francisco strike that has been carefully handled with limited rub on the cheek. Under the desk lamp, steely radiance is noted along with swirling cartwheels. The cheek is unblemished and pleasing. A well balance Morgan that is worthy of a CAC only collection. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2023) holder with CAC approval.

	1899-O	MS64	PCGS OGH 7562221		Gem	$450	OGH. Eye Appealing Blue and Magenta Obverse Toning. Ex Seal Beach. In a PCGS Gen. 3.1 (1993-1998) OGH holder. This lustrous nicely struck example shows beautiful blue and magenta toning throughout the obverse. Accurately graded as MS64, the reverse is flashy white.
